Alda has been selected for funding by the Icelandic Technology Development Fund in the 2025 autumn allocation, backing the next phase of our work on inclusive AI built on real workplace data.
From the start, we have been clear about one thing: artificial intelligence will shape workplace culture, whether organisations plan for it or not. The real question is how it is built, who it reflects, and who it serves.
Too much AI today is trained on historical data that encodes yesterday's inequalities. Without actively challenging that, organisations risk embedding exclusion into the systems shaping future decisions around hiring, development, and performance.
This funding allows Alda to take a significant step forward in developing AI that is grounded in real workplace data, designed to reduce bias rather than amplify it, and built to support healthier, higher-performing cultures at scale.
