We are proud to announce Alda was included in Gartner's prestigious list of leading technology solutions in the field of diversity and inclusion. This recognition places Alda among only six solutions globally acknowledged for excellence in measurement and goal-setting within this vital sector.
Developed in Iceland, Alda's software empowers organisations to assess and enhance workplace inclusion. The platform offers gamified micro-learning for employees and managers, alongside AI-driven goal-setting, metrics, and tailored action plans. These features enable companies to foster a more inclusive culture effectively.
"This is a significant endorsement; Gartner's recognition fundamentally enhances our global competitive position. We are immensely proud to offer a technological solution with such a unique standing on the international stage," said Þórey Vilhjálmsdóttir Proppé, CEO and founder of Alda to Viðskiptablaðið
Initially developed under the innovation company Empower, Alda secured 300 million ISK in funding from Frumtak and Tennin, along with a 50 million ISK grant from the Technology Development Fund in 2022. The software was launched a year later, coinciding with the company's rebranding to Alda. Today, Alda employs 13 specialists in software development, content creation, equality and diversity studies, management, business development, and marketing.
This recognition by Gartner underscores our commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion through innovative technology, reinforcing its position as a leader in this critical area.
