The Alda Nordic roadshow made its latest stop in Stockholm, where we had the honour of co-hosting an exclusive luncheon with the Icelandic Embassy in Sweden. 🇸🇪🇮🇸
Alongside Ambassador Bryndís Kjartansdóttir, we gathered an inspiring group of DEI leaders, CHROs, and workplace innovators to explore the evolving future of workplace inclusion. The conversations were timely, forward-thinking, and energising, from the rising scrutiny around the term "DEI" to the growing emphasis on data-driven, strategic approaches.
Key Takeaways from the Stockholm Luncheon
🔹 The mission remains: While language around DEI may be evolving, the commitment to inclusion, equity, and diverse leadership is more important than ever.
🔹 Tension signals progress: Resistance often leads to more disciplined, structured, and data-informed advancements.
🔹 The future belongs to inclusive companies: Organisations that embed inclusion into their business strategies will drive sustainable growth and success.
We were especially inspired by Stefanía Guðrún Halldórsdóttir, CEO of Avalanche Studios, who shared insights into how Alda’s platform has supported their journey toward creating a more inclusive and thriving workplace culture.
In keeping with local traditions, the Alda team swapped our usual seaside swim for a proper Swedish fika, proving once again that great conversations often start with good coffee and even better company. ☕️
A heartfelt thank you to the Icelandic Embassy in Sweden and to all the incredible leaders who joined us. Together, we are shaping the future of work—one conversation at a time.
